My iKamand device won't start cooking:

  • Make sure you've selected a food probe (or skipped food) and try pressing "Start iKamand" again. It may take 10 seconds for your cook to start.
  • Make sure your iKamand is turned on.
  • Try unplugging your device and plug it in again. Your iKamand should start running after it is plugged in again.
  • Remove your probes from the heat. Your iKamand fan will stop running if the temperature goes above 600 degF to make sure that you don't your probes don't spoil.
  • Make sure your iKamand is connected to the internet and to your account and isn't in connect mode.
